CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Roy R. Newlon, 81, of 504 18th Ave., died Sunday (Feb. 25, 1996) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Blair Rohde-Frank of the Grace United Methodist Church, Floyd, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Brighton.

The family will greet friends from noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.

For those wishing to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests giving to the "Heart to Home Hospice" of Charles City.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Wood of Phoenix, Arizona, and Debra Kaminski of Anchorage, Alaska; one son, Ronald Newlon of Washington, Iowa; two sisters, Opal Kuchenbacher and Gladys Robinson, both of Neenah, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, three brothers, three sisters and one daughter.
