CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Frederick E. Staudt, 68, of Charles City, died Saturday (Feb. 24, 1996) at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsignor Stanley Hayek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with a vigil scripture service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary led by the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Heart to Home Hospice of Charles City.

Frederick Earl Staudt was born Jan. 31, 1928, at Charles City.

Survivors include his wife, Maejeanette Staudt of Charles City; two daughters, Diane Wolf, Hudson, Wis., and Kathy Cannon, Memphis, Tenn.; one son, David Staudt, Forest City; five grandchildren; and one brother, Harold Staudt, Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
