ROCKFORD, IOWA - Mildred C. Riggan, 85, of Rockford, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 1996) at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Rockford, with the Rev. John Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in the Rockwell City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at the Schumburg Funeral Home, Rockford.

Mildred C. Riggan was born Nov. 11, 1910, in Rockwell.

Survivors include four sons, William C. Riggan of Marble Rock; Donald J. Riggan of Rockford; Gerald E. Riggan of Rockford, and Kenneth L. Riggan of Apple Valley, Calif.; one daughter, Margie L. Anderson of Mason City; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Walter Heaford of Greene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, one granddaughter, three brothers and one sister.
