CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Viola Sigler, 86, of Charles City, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Salsbury Baptist Home, Charles City, of natural causes.

Survivors include four daughters, Dolores Roberts of Osage, Geraldine Bray of Floyd, Barbara Rapp of Estherville and Gloria Tolliver of Charles City; a son, Bruce of Centralia, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; and a sister, Dorothy Bartelt of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, on May 25, 1982; three granddaughters; and two sisters, Vera Hanson and Mildred Welshans.

Services will be held on Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, both in Floyd; friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; visitation also for an hour before services Tuesday at the church; memorials may be directed to the Kelly and Heather Sigler Memorial Fund in care of Bruce Sigler, 801 Sutherland St., Centralia, MO 65240.

Mrs. Sigler and her husband farmed near Floyd; she was past president of the 60+ Club.
