CLEAR LAKE, Iowa - Carol A. McElroy, 53, of the Opportunity Village in Clear Lake, IA, died Thursday, August 24, 2007, at the Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at the Opportunity Village, 1200 N. 9th St. W., Clear Lake with Pastor Richard Murray officiating. Cremation has taken place with Cremation Services of North Iowa in Mason City in the care of Fullerton Funeral Home.

Carol Ann McElroy was born August 14, 1954 in Charles City, Iowa, to Robert and Mary Kathryn (Holl) McElroy. Carol will be remembered as a very special person who touched many lives of the people she met. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Grateful for having had the privilege of sharing in Carol’s life are her mother, Kathryn McElroy of Charles City, Iowa; her siblings, Connie Hooper of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Keith T. McElroy of Flower Mound, Texas, Christine Mackiewicz of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Roger McElroy of Waverly, Iowa as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. McElroy on January 13, 2007.
