WILHELMS RITES TO BE WEDNESDAY AT CHARLES CITY

CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Funeral services will be held at the St. John Lutheran Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Ida E. Wilhelms, 62. She died in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, Saturday at 3:45 p.m. where she had gone about a week ago for a checkup at the Mayo Clinic. Her death was sudden, but she had been in failing health for two years. She had been a resident of Charles City for 20 years.

The Rev. Werner A. Bischoff, pastgor, will officiate and burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens near Charles City.

She was born August 23, 1895, at Boyd, the daughter of William Denner and Fredericka Denner. She was married to Theodore J. Wilhelms at Boyd on April 5, 1923.

She is survived by her parents, husband, two daughters, Mrs. Brice Menzie, and Mrs. Vernon Hobert, both of Charles City; six brothers: Leo, Fredericksburg, Herbert, Villa Park, Illinois; Geroge, Finley Park, Illinois; William Jr., New Hampton; Reinhold, La Mesa, Calif.; Elmer, Cranston, R.I. and three sisters: Mrs. Herman Karnatz and Mrs. Everett Betzer, both of New Hampton, and Mrs. Virgil Schroeder, Boyd.

One sister preceded her in death.
