Services Held for Mrs. North at Charles City

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services were held Monday at the Grossmann Funeral Home for Mrs. John W. North, 68, who died in the Cedar Valley Hospital Friday afternoon. The Rev. A. C. Wegner officiated, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

She was born in Hansen, Nebraska, January 25, 1888, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Klingman.

She attended schools in Cazenovia, Illinois.

On January 14, 1947, she was married to John W. North of Cresco. Mrs. North was a member of the Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge and the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by her husband, two stepsons, Glenn S. North, Charles Cit, and Gale L. North, Elma; three step-daughters, Mrs George Kukhan, and Mrs. Fred Strickler, both of Charles City, and Mrs Jess Boggess, Bassett, and one brother, Howard A. Klingman, Wyoming, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by one sister and her first husband, LeRoy Gardner.
