EDINA, MISSOURI -- Elmina Ellen Mae O'Rourke, 79, of Edina, passed away Monday (April 1, 1996) at the Knox County Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the Schumburg Funeral Home, Rockford, Iowa, before proceeding to the cemetery.

Elmina Ellen Mae O'Rourke was born March 22, 1917, in Stiles, Pa. She was united in marriage to Edmond William ``Mike'' O'Rourke on March 5, 1945, in Mason City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1978. Mr. and Mrs. O'Rourke moved to a farm north of Hurdland, Mo., in 1964, where they were engaged in farming. They retired from farming in the early 1970s. Mrs. O'Rourke had lived at Edina for the past number of years.

She is survived by one son, Dennis O'Rourke of Hurdland, Mo.; one daughter, Sharon Ridings and her husband, Don, of Seattle, Wash.; and three grandchildren, Corey Ridings, Peter Ridings and Shawn O'Rourke.
