CHARLES CITY — Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church for Bernard John Boge, 94. He died at the Cedar Valley Hospital where he had been a patient for one week.

The Rosary will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, New Vienna.

Born in New Vienna, July 29, 1869 the son of Bernard and Christine Lansing Boge; he was married to Gertrude Gerken,Feb. 12, 1902, in, New Vienna.

He is survived by nine children: Alfred; Sageyille; Cyril, Dubuque; Mrs. Peter A. (Clarissa) Meyers, Guttenberg; Ray and Larry, Marshfield, Wisconsin; Norbert, Ionia; Lawrence and Eugene, Charles City; Arthur, Stone City; 46 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
