CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Gregory Clay, 43, a resident of 706 N. Johnson St., died Saturday (Sept. 14, 1996) at his home of complications of cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauser Funeral Home with the Rev. A.C. Wegner, Jr., pastor of the Faith Bible Chapel, officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Marble Rock. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.

Gregory Allen Clay was born Oct. 15, 1952, at Charles City.

Survivors include his wife, Linda "Terri" Munn of Charles City; three stepsons, Murl Burkhardt, Jamie Lawless and Daniel Munn III, all of Charles City; a stepdaughter, Kari Herman of Charles City; five brothers, Roger Clay of Olympia, Wash., David Clay of Floyd, Steve Clay, Clair Clay Jr. and Ronald Clay, all of Charles City; five sisters, Edna White of Floyd, Marrian Linde, JoAnn Bailey, Kathy White and Patricia Kellogg, all of Charles City; and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
