CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Leona Chandler, 80, of 902 10th Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 15, 1996, in a automobile accident near Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag and the Rev. Robert Salge, pastor of the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Tripoli, officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens near Charles City.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Leona Emmaline Trusty Chandler was born April 7, 1916, east of Ionia in Chickasaw County.

Survivors include three nephews and five nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
