CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Roy Peterson, 71, of 107 N. Joslin, died Thursday (Oct. 26, 1995) at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Bissett officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., and one hour prior to services at the church.

Roy Peterson was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Buxton.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Peterson of Charles City; one son, David Peterson of Des Moines; one daughter, Gayle Peterson of St. Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren; one brother, David "Ivan" Peterson of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Linnea Colgan, Elizabeth Lund and Naomi Culmer, all of Minneapolis, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

The family suggests memorials to the Trinity United Methodist Church and the Heart to Home Hospice.
