MARBLE ROCK, IOWA -- Philip E. Parcher, 82, of rural Marble Rock, died Wednesday (Sept. 27, 1995) at home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Marble Rock United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Rosemary Rohde-Frank officiating. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City, with the family greeting friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Philip Edward Parcher was born Dec. 11, 1912, in rural Marble Rock.

Survivors include his wife, Marie, of rural Marble Rock; two daughters, Betty Jo Staudt of Marble Rock and Maxine Hershey of Hazelton; three sons, Earl Parcher, Jerry Parcher and Dale Parcher, all of Marble Rock; a stepson, Raymond Smith of Greene; a stepdaughter, Linda Brandau of Charles City; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife. one brother and two sisters.
