ROCKFORD, IOWA — Jerry L. Hall, 26, of 204 E. Main St. in Rockford, died Monday morning (Aug. 6, 2007) of a sudden illness at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at The Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St. in Charles City, with the Rev. Wendy Johannesen officiating. Cremation Services of North Iowa, in the care of Fullerton Funeral Homes, will proceed with cremation following the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Jerry’s service on Friday at Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St. in Charles City.
Jerry Lee Hall, the third child and youngest son of Berniece Marie (Miller) and Thomas Lee Hall Sr., was born in Mason City on Oct. 1, 1980. He attended school and graduated from Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock High School in May 2000.
Jerry had a robust personality and found great enjoyment in riding his bike, fishing, tinkering on cars, eating good food and listening to loud music. He treasured time spent with his family and friends and his companionship with a variety of small pets. Jerry’s fun-loving personality as “a kid-at-heart” entertained the children who knew him.
Jerry will be dearly and sadly missed by his parents, Berniece and Thomas Hall Sr. of Rockford; his daughter, Mikayla Lynn Hall; his brother, Thomas Lee “Tommy” Hall Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Mason City; his grandmother, Geraldine “Jerry” Miller, of Charles City; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Preceding Jerry in death is his infant sister, Annie Oakley Hall; his grandfather, Paul R. Miller; his grandparents, John Hall and Pauline Hall-Espinosa and his uncle, James L. (Shimmy Jimmy) Hall.
