Kevin Delmar Neve

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Kevin Delmar Neve, age 38, of Charles City, died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at the Waverly Health Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Rock Grove Cemetery, rural Nora Springs, with the Rev. Glen Bandell of the Christian Church in Nora Springs officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the graveside service at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs.

Kevin Delmar Neve was born on March 9, 1969, in Charles City, the son of Kenneth and Shirley (McManus) Neve. He attended and received his education in the Nora Springs Community School. Kevin was united in marriage to Dea Parker on September 22, 2001 in Charles City.

Kevin worked for several years as a roofer and carpenter for the Watertight Construction Co. He loved horses, fishing, camping, the outdoors, golfing, bowling and gardening, but his great love and enjoyment was all his family and many friends.

Kevin also loved to ride his horse in the Easter Seal-Camp Sunnyside Pony Express event.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dea Neve, of Charles City; his children, Gina Butler, of Mason City, Dana Baker, Ashley Neve, Lona Baker, Jon Baker, Kenin Neve and Aaron Baker, all of Charles City; his grandson, Caden Baker, of Charles City; his mother, Shirley Neve, of Nora Springs; his grandmother, Kurna Neve, of Clear Lake; his brothers and sisters, Kathy (Jim) Hoffman, of Mason City, Kay (Lee) Kibsgaard, of Mason City, Johnny (Paula) Neve, of Charles City, Douglas (Lori) Neve of Plymouth, Karen (Ron) Portis, of Rockford, and Susan (Terry) Tweed, of Woden; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Neve; his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
