RUDD, IOWA - Anna (Mrs. Raymond) Melcher, 83, a former resident of Rudd, died on Sunday, May 11, 1997, at the Nora Springs Care Center, Nora Springs, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rudd United Methodist Church with the Rev. Deborah Stowers officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Anna Marie (Junkermeir) Melcher was born Oct. 11, 1913, in Ulster Township, Floyd County.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond, of Nora Springs; a son, Roger, of Rudd; and a sister, Marie Johnson, of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, four brothers and two sisters.
