CHARLES CITY, IOWA - John G. Jensen, 81, of 708 Eighth Ave., died on Friday, May 9, 1997, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauser Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Vallery of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens near Charles City.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

John Gail Jensen was born on January 25, 1916, in Floyd County.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Charles City; a daughter, Judy Horton, of Carson City, Nev.; a half-sister, Cecelia Berding of Colwell; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
