Leston "Bud" Eichmeier

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Leston "Bud" Eichmeier, 76, of 206 Seventh Ave., died on Thursday, February 27, 1997, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Karen Rask Behling of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit. Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.

Leston Edward Eichmeier was born on February 20, 1921, at Floyd, Floyd county, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, "Kay," of Charles City; one daughter, Catherine Dobbs, Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
