CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Lucile Ewald, 85, of 604 N. Joslin, died Sunday (March 2, 1997) at Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at a later date at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St. There will be no visitation.

Lucile Vern Schmoeller Anderson Ewald was born Dec. 30, 1911, at Washington, Iowa.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Anderson, Celina, Ohio; one daughter, Peggy Lockey of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, James Schmoeller of Harlingen, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, her parents and one brother.
