Funeral services for Abigail Jo Sutter, 6 years old, of 205 Hutches St., Marble Rock, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Marble Rock Community Center, 520 College St., Marble Rock with Pastor Curt Kuhns of the Manson Mennonite Church officiating. Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock.
Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 p.m, Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Marble Rock Community Center, Marble Rock. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services Saturday, at the Community Center.
Abigail Jo Sutter was born March 21, 2002 in Mason City, Cerro Gordo Co., Iowa a daughter of Heather (Tim) Legg and Justin Frana and died Friday, April 25, 2008, in her home from an accidental fire. She attended the Rudd, Rockford, Marble Rock Public School where she was in Kindergarten. She enjoyed Math, Computer Class and was very excited about learning to speak Spanish. Abby was a participant in the tag program and the after school library program. She was an extremely bright child.
Abby was a Daisy Scout, played T-Ball and loved to swim. She enjoyed jumping rope, riding her bike and working on her “Build-a- Bear” Bears. Abby enjoyed the challenge of a game of Hungry -Hungry Hippo or Checkers. Her favorite color was red and she was very much into “fashion”. Abby loved oatmeal, chicken strips and big pan cakes. She had a great appreciation for fine chocolates. She had three dogs: T-Bone (black lab), Gimpy (Golden Retriver) and Scoobey (special little mix breed). Abby was a healthy, happy, energetic child, who loved to spend time with her siblings. She was her own person and loved all types of music. Abby was sassy, vivacious, and full of life.
She will be sadly missed by her parents, Heather and Timothy Legg of Marble Rock; father, Justin Frana of Riceville; brother: Andrew of Marble Rock; sisters: Heaven Legg of Marble Rock and Olivia Smith of Osage; grandparents: Bob(Kathy) Walker of Riceville, Pat Legg of Marble Rock, Richard (Ann) Losee of Riceville, Tony Frana of Ridgeway, Virginia Fischer of Marshalltown; great grand parents: Don (Bonnie) Sutter of Manson, Marian Eccles of Manson; Jean Kadlec of Clear Water, Fl, Frank (Kay) Kadlec of Largo, FL, Wilma Frana of Calmer, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
