William Earl `Bill' Gonser

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS - William Earl ``Bill'' Gonser, 70, of Grand Prairie, died Sunday (Jan. 26, 1997). Hughes Funeral Home, 9700 Webb Chapel Rd., Dallas, Texas 75220 was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gonser was born in Nora Springs, Iowa, and raised in Mason City, Iowa. He moved to Grand Prairie in the 1950s.

He attended college in Iowa and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After 37 years, Bill retired in 1988 from E-Systems, Garland, Texas, where he worked as an electrical engineer.

He is survived by sons, Michael F. Gonser of Dallas, Texas; Patrick and Kenneth Gonser, both of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughters, Beverly Anderson of Fairbanks, Alaska; Patricia Zinn of Brushy Creek, Texas, and Lynn Gonser of Arlington, Texas; a nephew, Alan Cole; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Gonser; a sister, Sarah C. Cole; and parents, Frank and Harriet Gonser.
