CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Elsie Stewart, 91, of Charles City, died Thursday (Jan. 2, 1997) at the Ninth St. Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Greg Lugn of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauser Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday. Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church of Charles City.

Elsie Marie Freiberg Stewart was born Dec. 13, 1905, in Charles City.

Survivors include one son, David Stewart of Williamston, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and five brothers.
