CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Alice Stauffer, 75, of 3176 260th. St., died on Thursday, January 16, 1997, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery and the Rev. Debra Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Alice Marie Litterer Stauffer was born April 9, 1921, in rural Clarksville.

Survivors include her husband, Dale, of Charles City; one son, Roger Stauffer of Allison; two daughters, Lin Sinclair of Charles City, and Vicky Sonne of Rockford; 11 grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; her mother, Marie Litterer of Charles City; two sisters, Edna Franke of Charles City, and Gladys Stauffer of Greene; and two brothers, Elmer Litterer of Clarksville, and Ken Litterer of Lost Nation.
