CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Catherine J. ``Kay'' Mabie, 76, of 501 Blunt St., died Thursday (Jan. 2, 1997) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Milwaukee and Hulin Streets, with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be further visitation from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the funeral home. The casket will be closed at the church.

Catherine J. Mabie was born June 19, 1920, State Center.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Charles City; three daughters, Deborah Menke of Clear Lake, Linda Wolff of Charles City, and Ann Covill of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Robert Merrill of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
