MASON CITY, IOWA — Ellen G. Bailey, 90, of Mason City, died Saturday (Sept. 20 2003) at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, with the Rev. Kathy Graves, director of Spiritual Care for Hospice, officiating. There will be no visitation.

Ellen was born January 6, 1913, in Nora Springs, the daughter of Philip and Hilda (Petrie) Geyer. She attended school in Nora Springs.

Ellen was married to Harry Bailey. She worked for the United States government in the Pentagon for many years. She returned to Mason City several years ago.

Ellen is survived by her niece, Linda Neibergall, of Mason City, and her nephew, Gregory Engleman, of Astoria, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry; sisters, Marion Engleman and Florence Van Heiden; and her brothers, Roy and Clarence Geyer.
