Howard Begeman, 81, a former resident of 1719 Rotary Park Road, Charles City, died Monday, October 27, 2003, at the 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa.
Funeral services for Howard Begeman will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. The Rev. Paul Wilcox, pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
Howard George Begeman was born July 19, 1922, at Charles City, the son of Theodore and Irene (Smith) Begeman. He received his education at Charles City. Howard farmed in the Charles City area all of his life. His interest in electronics was evident as he owned and operated Begeman TV for forty years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Living family members include a sister, Donna (Thomas) Oliver of Charles City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene Begeman Caruth and Theodore Begeman.
