Daisy Kivell, 92, a former resident of 2275 260th Street, Greene, died Thursday, May 15, 2003, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital, in Charles City, Iowa.

Graveside services for Daisy Kivell will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Riverside Cemetery, Charles City. The Rev. Dennis Niezwaag, pastor at Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home and process to the cemetery.

Daisy Mae Kivell was born Nov. 2, 1910, in Floyd County, the daughter of Albert and Lydia (Barth) Kivell. She graduated from the Marble Rock High School in 1927, and from Grinnell College. Daisy spent her life on her parent's farm helping her parents and brother in the farming operation.

Living family members include several cousins.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Ivan Kivell.
