RICEVILLE, IOWA - Clayton 'Buff' Bill, age 44, of Morristown, Minn., passed away on July 2, 2002, at his residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville on Saturday, July 6, 2002, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Ray E. Atwood officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion - Roy Gue Post 244.

Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Charles City. Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral home in Riceville today, July 5, during the hours of 4-8 p.m. and the morning of the services at the funeral home.

Clayton Dean Bill, son of Harvey and Dorothy Chambers Bill, was born Sept. 25, 1957, in Charles City. He married Debra Renae Morrell on Jan. 3, 1991, in Cresco. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife Debra of Morristown, Minn.; two sons: Anthony Bill of Burnsville, Minn. and Harvey Bill of Morristown, Minn.; a daughter Amy Bill of Houston, Texas; a step-daughter Randi and her husband, Russell Bill, of Morristown, Minn.; three grandchildren; Samantha, Carrie and Jennifer Bill, all of Morristown, Minn.; his mother, Dorothy Bill of Riceville; eight sisters: Nancy Grimm and her husband, Ronald of Riceville; Judy McMaster and her husband, Thomas, of Riceville; Janice Runnion and her husband, Virgil, of Spencer, W.V.; Mary Olson and her husband, Wayne, of Cresco; Tammy Loecher and her husband, John, of Adams, Minn.; Sandy Runde and her husband, Dean, of LeRoy, Minn.; Vickie Roethler and her husband, Lowell, of Algona; and Linda Levorson and her husband, Keith, of Riceville; and four brothers: Larry Bill and his wife, Dorothy, of Hampton; Kenneth Bill and his wife, Diane, of LeRoy, Minn.; Roy Bill and his wife, Joyce, of Charles City; and Russell Bill and his wife, Randi, of Morristown, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, David and Jesse.
