Mrs. Forest Beren

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Mrs. Forest Beren, 54, died Friday at the Cedar Valley Hospital. She had been in failing health several months. The Berens have been residents of Charles City for 29 years.

Twilah Maxine Taft was born on August 22, 1910, at Cartersville, the daughter of Steve and Nellie Beveridge Taft. She was married to Forest C. Beren on September 14, 1935 in Charles City.

Survivors include her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Harry Lathrop, Cross Lake, Minn., and Mrs. William Ryburn of Rockwell, and a brother, Charles Taft, Madera, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
