Veryl G. Johnson, 83, a resident of 712 9th Ave., Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, died Tuesday morning, February 15, 2000, at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City. The Rev. Dianne Christopher, senior pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Alcock Cemetery in rural Fredrika.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday morning at the church an hour prior to the service.
