CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Leo M. Harman, 73, of 109 Maple Ave., Charles City, died Monday (July 31, 1995) at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main and Gilbert Streets, with the Rev. Karen Rask Behling officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens, south of Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, with military graveside honors by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit. Visitation will be from noon until 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Leo Milford Harman was born June 26, 1922 in Jewell.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Harman of Charles City; one son, Steven Harman of Belle Plaine, Iowa; two daughters, Carolyn Lokenvitz, and Connie Harman, both of Charles City; two sisters, Cleo St.John of Fairmont, Minn., and Arlene Walker of Jewell; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson.
