Donna Mae (Medlin) Wentworth, 72, of Mason City, formerly of Nora Springs, died Monday, September 29, 2008, at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

A funeral service for Donna will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126-3rd Street NE, Mason City, with Reverend Kent A. Mechler, Chaplin at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Hwy 122 West, Mason City. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126-3rd Street NE, Mason City. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to service time on Thursday at the chapel.

Donna was born on March 4, 1936, in Mason City, the daughter of George & Della (Nowlan) Medlin. Donna attended Mason City High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne LeRoy Wentworth on July 25, 1954, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1989. After their marriage together they lived many years in Nora Springs. In 2000, Donna moved to Mason City until her move to the Good Shepherd Health Center in 2006.

Donna enjoyed being with her family especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chuck (Sandy) Wentworth of Sycamore, IL, and their children, Brodie and Myles Wentworth; Sheila (Bill) Lawler of Mason City and their children, Carrie and Brad Crum; Susan (Randy) Schluter of Mason City and their children, Nick (Sarah) Schluter and Mandy (Mike) Steckly; Steve Wentworth of Rockwell and his children, Brook, Amanda, and Derek Wentworth; Cherri (Bob) Ezarski of Mason City and their children, Wyeth and Tyler Ezarski, Six great-grandchildren, Jessica and Kaiden Wentworth, Ty and Mia Schluter, and Clayten and Cael Steckly, five brothers, Ed (Marcelle) Allen of Humboldt, Jerry (Janice) Allen of mason City, Robert (Doris) Medlin of Oskaloosa, Jim (Barb) Medlin of Mason City, and George (Ann) Medlin of Nora Springs, her roommate and special friend, LuAnn Hadacek of the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and husband Wayne.
