Those attending the service are welcome to meet at the funeral home and process to the cemetery together.

Willie Arthur Herman was born December 24, 1914, in Crawford, Missouri, the son of Jiles and Mildred (Wilson) Herman. He received his education in Missouri and Charles City. Willie served in the United States Army. After his discharge he worked for many years at the Eli Goldstein Scrap Yard. Willie enjoyed hunting, shopping, playing video games and watching television.

Living family members include two sisters-in-law, Betty Herman and Jane Herman both of Charles City; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Allen & Orvall Herman; and a step sister, Bessie Warner.
