Marcella “Marcy” Henry, 68, of Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, died Monday, December 4, 2006, at her residence.

Marcella Agnes Jurek Henry was born January 15, 1938, in Carlton County, Minnesota, the daughter of Florian and Mary (Gresczyk) Jurek. She graduated from the Moose Lake High School in Moose Lake, Minnesota.

On August 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to John Henry at St. Paul, Minnesota.

In 1972 they moved to Charles City. Marcy was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary and the Charles City Women’s Bowling Association. Her hobbies included bowling, playing cards and camping. Marcy always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends.

Living family members include her husband, John Henry of Charles City; three children, Deb (Galen) Roberts of Floyd, Kim (Kent) Howe of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Todd (Deb) Henry of Roberts, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Zach and Tyson Roberts, Amanda, Ali and Nathan Howe, and Brady and Gabrielle Henry; three sisters, Regina (Martin) Price, Julie (Chuck) Pfluger and Carol (Rick) Hanson all of Minnesota; six brothers, Ted (Marilyn) Jurek, Ed (Kathy) Jurek, Benny (Donna) Jurek, Bill (Marge) Jurek, Chet (Gloria) Jurek and Leonard (Betty) Jurek all of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
