Howard E. Martin McLeese, 37, of Clear Lake, Iowa, and formerly of Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, died on Saturday, September 2, 2006, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, in Mason City, Cerro Gordo county, Iowa.

Howard Eugene Martin McLeese was born March 5, 1969, the son of Howard Martin, Sr. and Sally Jo Sholl in Tucson, Arizona. He attended the Charles City High School. His interests include driving his truck, collecting Caterpillar cards and collectables, going to see the big machinery in action, and especially spending time with his cat Kim.

Living family members include his mother, Sally Jo McLeese of Charles City; his biological father, Howard (Betty) Martin of Peoria, Illinois; two uncles, Terry (Ida) McLeese of Knoxville, Illinois, and Jimbo McLeese of Galesburg, Illinois; two aunts, Connie McLeese and Betty “Tootsie” McLeese both of Galesburg; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a very special friend Linda Molested of Charles City.

He was preceded by his grandparents; his father, Richard McLeese; and two brothers in infancy.
