Kevin Thomas Lovrien was born July 1, 1967, at Emmetsburg, the son of Kenneth and Mary (White) Lovrien. He graduated from the Charles City High School and attended the Phoenix Institute of Technology and University of Iowa. Kevin served in the United States Army and also with the 1133rd Transportation Unit of the National Guard. He was a Radar Technician with Lockheed Martin Defense Industries in Colorado. Kevin’s hobbies included flying, paratrooping and collecting videos and DVDs.

Living family members include three children, Sam Lovrien of Clarksville, and Catlyn and Cody Lovrien both of Phoenix, Aarizona; his parents, Kenneth and Mary Lovrien of Charles City; two sisters, Becky (Jim) Orcutt and Marie Lovrien both of Charles City; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Lovrien in 1991.
