Dorland “Allan” Vallebo, 39, of Charles City, died Sunday, February 17, 2008, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City. The Reverend Carl Ries will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City.

Dorland “Allan” Vallebo was born November 11, 1968, in the Philippines, the son of Henry and Mercedes (Pimentel) Vallebo, Sr. He received his education in the Philippines.

On April 28, 1992, he was united in marriage to Violeta Lictaoa in the Philippines. Dorland and his family moved to the United States on June 20, 2002, where he was employed at All State Quality Foods in Charles City from 2002 to 2004 and Winnebago from April 2004 until present.

He was a member of the Filipino-American Association and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City. His interests included fishing, cooking, playing his guitar, karaoke and working on the computer.

Living family members include his wife, Violeta Vallebo of Charles City; two children, Alvin and Aileen Vallebo both of Charles City; his parents, Henry and Mercedes Vallebo, Sr. of Charles City; two sisters, Sheila (Normandy) Suyat of the Philippine and Joy Vallebo of Charles City; two brothers, Henry (Vivian) Vallebo, Jr. of Charles City and Ian Vallebo of Charles City; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
