Jonathan "Jon" Raimann, 16, of Charles City, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at his home in Charles City.

Pastor Alan Schulz will officiate. Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Union Cemetery in Mapleton, Minn.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Jonathan Darrel Raimann was born January 19, 1991, at Goshen, Ind., the son of Larry and Ronda (Hawkins) Raimann. He was a junior at the Osage High School and also worked part-time at HyVee. On November 11, 2007, Jon was confirmed at Messiah Lutheran Church in Charles City. His interests included music, playing the guitar, watching movies, the internet, chatting with friends, writing poetry, and helping friends.

Living family include his parents Larry and Ronda Raimann of Charles City; two brothers, Jacob Raimann of San Diego, Calif. and Jarrod Raimann of Charles City; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Carrie Hawkins of Kittanning, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Charles and Bev Raimann of Mapleton, Minn.; maternal aunts and uncles, Julie (Mark) Tomiczek of Kittanning, Pa., Jan (Doug) Martin of New Castle, Pa. and Rainee Hawkins of Kittanning, Pa; paternal aunts and uncles, Kelly (Jeff) Weyhrauch of Mapleton, Minn., Amy (Jim) Elmer of Freeborn, Minn. and Travis Raimann and fiancée Ann O’Boyle of St. Paul, Minn; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Grant and Ruby Hawkins; paternal great-grandparents, Arnold and Meta Mann and Emil and Uarda Raimann; and one cousin, Vincent Zanotti in 2003.
