Troy Diesburg, 43, of Charles City, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

Troy Allen Diesburg was born June 22, 1964, at Osage, the son of Cletus, Jr. and Connie (Mooberry) Diesburg. He graduated from the New Hampton High School in 1982 and received his engineering certificate from Peterson School of Engineering in Boston, Mass. Troy proudly served in the United States Navy from 19821992.

On February 13, 1988, he was united in marriage to Maureen Ruane. To this union two children, Amber and Sonny, were born. They later divorced. Troy married Tonya Clark on February 23, 2003. They later divorced.

Troy worked for 13 years at Cambrex and then was self employed in construction. He was a volunteer for the C.C. Mat Club. His interests included golfing, camping, wrestling and riding in Ragbrai. He was also an avid Hawkeye and Packer fan. Troy loved his family, always taking an interest in what they were doing and enjoying the family get-togethers.

Living family members include a son, Sonny Diesburg of Charles City; three brothers, David (Judy) Diesburg of Charles City, Mike (Gretchen) Diesburg of Summerville, S.C. and Chuck (Angela) Diesburg of Ionia; a sister, Lora (Paul) Lokenvitz of Ionia; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Amber Diesburg on April 25, 2007.
