Margaret M. Buschbom, 105, of Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at her home.

Pastor William Buschbom will officiate. Burial will take place on Monday at Hillside Cemetery in State Center.

Margaret May Locke Buschbom was born March 9, 1903, at Ryan, the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Hamblin) Locke. She graduated from Ryan High School and later from Pitzies in Waterloo. On May 29, 1935, she was united in marriage to Orlando Buschbom at Aplington. Margaret owned and operated the Milady Beauty Shop in Charles City for 35 years. Her interests included gardening, crocheting, quilting, working and spending time with her family.

Living family members include her husband, Orlando, Buschbom of Charles City; Charles (Karen) Buschbom of Shelton, Wash. and Robert (Jody) Buschbom of Waterloo; five grandchildren, James (Lisa) Hanson, Kathy (Louie) Kobliska, Darrell (Lori) Hanson and Christofer (Liz) Buschbom; 20 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Bernice Buschbom and Shirley (Orval) Hanson; four sisters and six brothers.
