William Eugene Brennan was born April 20, 1953, at Fort Dodge, the son of Bernard and Vivian (Gernhart) Brennan. He graduated from Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Community School in 1971 and attended North Iowa Area Community College.

Bill was united in marriage to Lou Bucknell on April 8, 1982 at the Little Brown Church. Bill worked at Fareway in Charles City while at home with his parents.

Bill then worked for HyVee in Charles City, Econofoods in Charles City until their closing and was currently at Econofoods in Clear Lake.

One of his favorite pastimes was working on cars. His 1969 GTO was one of his pride and joys. Bill enjoyed visiting with people and also helping people in whatever way he could, being remembered as the “quiet helper”. Family, however, had first place in his life and he always looked forward to spending time with them.
