Mirshawn Chriss, infant son of Shawn Chriss and Miranda Moses, was born and died on December 11, 2007, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Mirshawn is survived by his parents; a sister, Crystal-Monique Stiles of Charles City; maternal grandmother, Mary Moses of Chicago; maternal great-grandfather, James Young of Chicago; paternal grandparents, Eugen Chriss of Chicago; paternal great-grandmother, Charlie Chriss of Chicago; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Mary Young; and paternal grandmother, Delores Chriss.
