CHARLES CITY — Marie J. Tibeau, 85, of 714 Eighth Ave., died Sunday (Dec. 7, 1997) at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, U.S. Highway 18 and Clark Street, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St. St. Michael’s Circle will recite the rosary at 3 p.m. and there will be a parish scriptural wake service at 8 p.m. Monday. Visitation will continue one hour prior to Mass at the church.

Marie was born Nov. 25, 1912, in Marble Rock.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and two nieces.
