Charles City, Iowa - Funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hauser funeral home for John W. Refsnider, 74, who died suddenly Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cyrus Springer.

Burial will be in Beckwith cemetery. He was for several years employed by the Krueger Oil Co., and has been a resident here practically all his life.

John was born on August 3, 1870 to John and Mary Staebler Refsnider in Niles township, Floyd county, Iowa.

He leaves two daughters and one son, Mrs. Flossie Springer, Charles City, Mrs. Marlise Hurth, Minneapolis, Minn., and Gerald Refsnider, Los Angeles, Calif.
