Died-In this city, Sunday at 10 o'clock p.m., Dec 2, 1900, Henry M Jung, aged 44 years, 10 months and 1 day, of apoplexy.
Henry Jung was born in the town of Holstein, London, Germany, Feb 1, 1856. He cme to Waterloo, Iowa, when eight years of age, where he resided until 1882, when he came to this city, which has been his residence ever since.
He was married in 1880 to Miss Anna Nors, of Waterloo, Iowa, who died ten months later. One child was born of this union, Anna who still survives.
In 1886 he was married to Miss Mollie Wiltse, of Charles City, who died here in 1899. Two children were born of this marriage, Henry M. and Paulina who still survive. John and Claus Jung of Waterloo are the surviving brothers of Henry. Mrs. Rehbock of Cedar Falls, Mrs. M. Behrens and Mrs. Will Sassman, of this city, are his surviving sisters. The funeral services will be held from the home of Mr. M. Behrens at 2 o'clock today, Rev. A. R. Tillinghast, pastor of the Universalist church at Waterloo, officiating. The body will be interred in the Riverside cemetery.
Mr. Jung had a severe spell of sickness last winter when his life for many weeks was despaired of. He, however rallied and has been in usual fair health during the last season. He was taken sick Saturday at 5 o'clock, which terminated in his death.
