Mr. Richard Ebert Dies –

Mr. Richard H. Ebert, aged 77, passed away Sunday afternoon at the University hospital, Iowa City, where he had been a patient since February 13th. Mr. Ebert came to this country at the age of 18 years and for many years was employed as pattern maker for the Hart-Parr.

Later he was engaged as a partner of Wing and Ebert second hand store and repair shop in the Gable building. He has been in failing health for several years.

Mr. Ebert was united in marriage to Bertha Louise Voelker. To this union was born one son, Frank H. Ebert of Milwaukee, Wis. Mrs. Ebert passed away in 1917.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Hauser Funeral Home. Interment will be made in Riverside cemetery.
