Minister Collapses in Pulpit, Dies

Charles City, Iowa - J. Milton Holmberg, 29, pastor of the Covenant Evangelical Mission church, 705 Milwaukee street, collapsed in the pulpit at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, dying five minutes later of a heart attack.

Rev. Mr. Holmberg’s sermon text was, “A Divided Heart.: He had been pastor of the church here for the last 20 months, coming here from North Park college in Chicago.

His parents preceded him in death, his mother a year ago.

He is survived by three sisters and one bother.
