Funeral services were here Monday for Jacob L. Grange, 65, retired salesman, who died in Cedar Valley hospital Saturday from a cerebral hemorrhage, after several weeks’ illness; had been a patient in the hospital three days; father, William Gange, also of Charles City, died some years ago at the age of 101; father was a Civil war veteran and pioneer auctioneer.

Mr. Grange was born Jan. 5, 1882, in Charles City, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Grange; lived at 1105 Allison street; leaves widow, a son Robert Gange, Waterloo; two daughters, Mrs. G. E. Ableiter, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. R. D. McDougall, Waterloo; three sisters, Katharine Johnson, Charles City; Mr. Grace Fisher in Washington state and Mrs. G. H. Kolterman, Oak Park, Ill.; and three brothers, W. B. Grange, Kansas City, Mo.; J. B. Gange of California and R. T. Gange in Oregon.
