The Dean Family Reunion The Iowa Recorder, Greene Iowa July 20, 1932
A reunion of the several members of the Dean family was held Sunday at the Lyndon Losee home. There were fifty-three present. A fine dinner was served with all the good things of the season and plenty of ice cream. It was regretted that, owing to ill health, Mrs. Kingsbury and Deck Dean, members of the original Dean family, were unable to be present.

Those present of the original family were: Mrs. Alta Losee and Daniel Dean. Guest present were: Daniel Dean and wife, Bill Matte and family, Ralph Horton and family, Lloyd Baughy and family, Byron Dean and family, Nora Springs; Jerry Lines, Austin, Minn; Edwin Crowell and Donald Lines, Rockford; Claude Keith and family, Clifford Keith and family, Will Melugin and family, Bernard Losee and family, Lyndon Losee and family, Mrs. Fred Losee, Elva Patten and family, Thomas Lines and family, Marble Rock. There were four generations of the Daniel Dean family present and two birthdays were celebrated, Mrs. Thomas Lines and little Coletta Losee. The day was spent in talking over old times, thus bringing back happy memories of the past. It was a day long to be remembered.
