Probate records are in the Clerk of Court Office and death records are now found in the Recorders Office at the Courthouse in West Union, Iowa. The Fayette County Historical Center is across the street from the Courthouse. The couple are buried in Union-Otsego Cemetery, southeast of Oelwein.
